Dr Gieryn studied in Belgium at UCL Louvain and qualified as a Medical Doctor.

He immigrated to Johannesburg South Africa in 1991, and practised at Witwatersrand University Hospitals until 1995.

He went into Aesthetic Private Practice in Rosebank from 1995 to 1998.

He then moved his Practice to Paulshof and started specialising in Weight Control, since 1998 to where you will currently find him.
